How do we transport the equipment?
All equipment can fit in a normal-sized vehicle with the back seats down; however, if you need transportation, then choose our Silver package, and then we can arrange this for you.
We provide marquee hire primarily in London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and further. Contact us to confirm if we cover your location.
Setup typically takes 1-2 days before the event, and dismantling is completed the day after the event. The timings of the install are dependent on structure size and accessories.

Similar to renting a car, you’ll pick up the marquee from our Stanmore warehouse in North West London (HA7 1NR) and return it on the agreed-upon return date. We’ll supply you with straightforward assembly instructions and an anchoring kit to secure the structure. Additionally, each pole is numbered for a streamlined assembly process. By choosing this option, you can save over 75% compared to traditional hiring costs, leaving you with extra funds to enhance your special occasion.
At Wimba, we take pride in our transparency when it comes to pricing. That’s why we provide a comprehensive list of all our prices on our website and offer a hire cost calculator.
For sites located 6 miles or more from our Bushey base, an additional charge of £1 per mile will apply on all journeys to and from the site. This fee covers extra fuel costs, extended travel time, and any additional labor required for delivery and installation.
If access to the site is limited, such as requiring equipment to be carried over long distances, through properties, stairs, or other obstacles — an additional charge of £50–£100 will apply. The exact amount will depend on the level of difficulty and the volume of equipment required for the setup. This fee covers the extra time, labor, and logistical effort needed to ensure safe and efficient delivery and installation.
All accessory hire prices shown are based on being hired in conjunction with a structure. If accessories are hired without a structure, an additional charge of 25% could be applied to the total accessory hire cost, subject to a minimum charge of £150. This adjustment covers the extra logistical effort required for standalone accessory hire.
For marquee hire requests made within 48 hours of the event start time, an additional charge of £50–£100 will apply. The exact amount will depend on the complexity of the booking, size of the structure, and logistical requirements. This fee covers expedited scheduling, additional labor, and priority transport to ensure timely delivery and installation.
I bought a geodesic igloo. I wanted to say the quality is superb. It was so easy to put up and the components are way better than the one we bought before from a German manufacturer. I cant recommend this company highly enough. I wanted to buy a large marquee and have it shipped to Northern Ireland as the local prices were almost double what Wimba were charging.

We used Wimba Marquee for our son’s 5th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! Adam and Daniel looked after us like family, ensuring everything went smoothly. Even with the storm, the marquee stood strong and was so warm and cozy that all our guests were amazed. They were even on standby to make sure it went all well. Despite the rain, the party went on without a hitch, and the guests absolutely loved it. When we had a slight issue with the heating on a Saturday midday, they came around within minutes to fix it, which was incredibly helpful. This is where the customer experience really stood out. The marquee was so convenient, especially since we couldn’t book our local church. They provided chairs and tables, making it a great alternative. Everything was set up perfectly, and the party was a huge hit. We would highly recommend Wimba Marquee for all occasions!
All in all a brilliant service from Wimbaway from start to finish. We love our Marquee. It is sturdy, good quality and perfect for what we were looking for. The tent went together easily and wasn't too difficult to fold away afterwards. The carry cases were also good, although I wonder how long the handles will last?! Delivery was very quick and pricing was reasonable. We look forward for many years of use from this marquee, but are pleased to hear that replacement parts are available to order separately if required in the future. I'd definitely recommend this product and company!
